This fascinating book was created and wrote by Rick Riordan. The book is about a normal kid that has dyslexia, at least he thinks he's normal. Percy Jackson soon encounters many attacks by vicious, bloodthirsty monsters and that is when he finds out he is not normal, he is way beyond normal. Percy is then offered a vital quest... To find and retrieve Zeus's master lightning bolt. But Zeus is having a war with Poseidon the sea God, because Zeus thinks he stole the master lightning bolt or Poseidon got his son, Percy to do it for him. If their is one thing Percy doesn't want to do, it is get in the way of the angry sky God - Zeus. Sometimes an ordinary kid... is all you need.
